祭囃子&竹楽器の和製アフロ・グルーヴ・バンド、アジャテが7inchシングル第二弾をリリース!!

今や国内外で燦然と輝く地位と人気を確立した唯一無二のお囃子アフログルーヴ・バンド、アジャテの2年ぶりとなる7インチが登場。

今作は既にライブではお馴染みのビッグ・チューン2曲を収録。ジャーテ（バンブー・バラフォン）によるスペーシーなイントロが鮮烈なA面『maideso』は、ループするコズミックなリズム隊に絡みつくような竹笛、そしてアシッドに響くノイジーなギターがトリッピーな空間を作り上げ、言葉遊びによる小気味の良いコーラスが混ざるアジャテ節真骨頂のナンバー。

フックの効いたポリリズミックなジャーテの音色がライブでは大きな盛り上がりをみせるB面の『いづちへも』は、たゆたうように浮遊するギターフレーズとグルーヴィーなベースラインでトランスへと導くアジャテ式アフロビート・ミーツ・グナワな楽曲で、ボーカリストPeppermint Uがダンスは抵抗であるということを優しくも熱く語り掛ける。

イラスト・デザインは2022年愛知での2ヶ所のライブ・ツアーを共にし盟友となったアフロビート・バンド、Stepak-Takraw（＝セパタクロウ）のベーシストであるマグナム氏が手がけ、嬉しい歌詞カード付き。
